How to use this site
What the data is
Every Pokémon in [Gen 9] Champions Random Battle gets a randomly
generated set. This site shows the exact probabilities behind those
sets, extracted from Showdown's generator by
pkmn/randbats:
which role a Pokémon rolls, and — per role — the chance of each ability,
item, and move. 100% bars (gold) mean guaranteed; anything else is
a dice roll. Data refreshed .
Reading a Pokémon page
Click any card. You'll see base stats plus the actual in-battle stat
at its fixed level (Champions uses its own stat formula — this site
implements it exactly). Type matchups include ability-based immunities with
the chance the Pokémon actually has that ability. Moves marked
Δ were rebalanced by the Champions mod
(different BP/accuracy/type than standard gen 9) — hover for details.
Damage calc
Runs on @smogon/calc, the engine behind the official Showdown
calculator, adjusted for Champions mechanics. Pick two Pokémon (or use the
⚔ button on cards: first pick attacks, second defends — or ⚔/🛡 in any
detail view). Every move in the attacker's pool is ranked with the chance
they actually have it. The Set dropdown scopes moves/ability/item
odds to one role, like the official Random Battles calc. Hazards, screens,
weather, status, boosts, and HP all feed the official KO-chance text —
hover any row for the canonical calc description.
Checks & counters
Every Pokémon page has a 🔎 scan that runs the exact damage calc
against all other Pokémon, both directions, and ranks the best answers —
click a result to open that matchup in the calc. Results stream in while
it works (~15 s) and are cached.
Keyboard shortcuts
/ focus search · ← → previous/next Pokémon in the detail
view · Esc close · 🎲 opens a random Pokémon · every view,
filter set and calc matchup is a shareable URL (🔗 buttons copy
links); your last matchup is restored when you return.
Champions quirks worth knowing
No Tera in this format — Mega Evolutions instead (one per team;
the Megas' data pages list their real battle ability). Aegislash attacks
in Blade forme and defends in Shield forme. Levels (44–60) balance
strength: the stronger the Pokémon, the lower its level.
Play with a live sidebar
There's a companion browser extension that shows these calcs
live during your battles on Showdown — see the
project repo
(extension/ folder, "Load unpacked").
